I joined BaxterStorey back in 2005 as a catering assistant and have since worked my way up the ladder to get to my current position as retail head chef at one of London’s leading banks.
Prior to joining BaxterStorey I had no formal culinary training, but the exec chefs I have been lucky enough to meet along the way, have taught me so much about this amazing industry.
In 2007, I joined the Chef Academy and haven’t looked back since. The Chef Academy has sharpened my skills not just in cooking, but also given me the confidence and positive mindset to run a business. I’ve supported with client visits, sales presentations and VIP events – it’s been a busy few years!
My current role as retail head chef means I oversee the retail catering operation – two restaurants, a deli and seven coffee shops for 5000 employees. From ‘A Round the World’ breakfast offers to pizza masterclasses and developing a recipe e-book for our customers, there’s always plenty of projects to keep me busy.
I’ve also been shortlisted for the Chef of the Year Award at this year’s Foodservice Cateys – a definite career highlight!
