With a passion for creating exciting workplace dining experiences for its customers, we have launched ‘The Canteen’, a new restaurant and events space at Channel 4 headquarters in London.
Over 750 staff enjoyed a festival-themed launch celebration, which culminated in an exclusive performance from UK grime artist, Big Narstie who took to the stage to perform one of his renowned sets.
Guests were treated to a delicious Vietnamese-inspired lunch menu, including lemongrass and ginger chicken strips, Vietnamese BBQ pulled pork and stir-fried seitan with chilli and coriander, inspired by our latest Banh Mi concept. Much-loved ‘Quirky Bird’ beer-can chicken was on offer with buttered corn kebabs and ranch slaw, alongside the Hola Guacamole street food truck, serving smoky pulled chicken burritos.
Feasting continued into the afternoon with frozen yoghurt and ice cream for those needing a thirst-quenching treat in the sunny weather, as well as an afternoon tea selection of cake pops, toffee apples and homemade popcorn. A large queue formed at the tri-colour arancini wagon, serving Sicilian style risotto balls filled with mozzarella and deep fried in beetroot, spinach and tarragon or turmeric and chilli crumb.
Complementing the food was an eclectic mix of beverages. Speciality coffee roasters Modern Standard gave guests a taste of coffee action with their Cold Brew Nitro espresso martinis, Peter Spanton oversaw the ever-popular gin bar, with prosecco on tap provided by wine experts Jascots. Bermondsey based Fourpure presented an incredible display of craft beer.

We have received great feedback from customers and the team were amazing on the day. We are lucky to be working in a fantastic space and are excited to work closely with our clients to see what else we can deliver”.
