We are thrilled to announce we have been crowned Large Business of the Year at the prestigious British Business Awards.

The glitzy event took over the Edinburgh International Conference Centre with 2000 people in attendance. Think suits, sparkle and a whole lot of celebration!

The Awards not only consider commercial performance and business growth, they recognise businesses that are driving innovation, building a positive and inclusive workplace culture, leading the way when it comes to ESG and supporting the local community.

This award celebrated the bold moves we’ve made over the last 12 months, including:

  • Announced our game-changing new benefits package
  • Achieved the highest ‘world-class’ status under the Hospitality Assured quality standard
  • Opened doors into our industry with the launch of our Early Careers Programme
  • Re-wrote the rulebook with our company rebrand
  • Put ED&I at the forefront, introducing policies on baby loss, menopause, workplace adjustments and inclusive kitchen culture
  • Launched six employee resource groups that are driving positive change

Ronan Harte, our CEO said: “This has been a truly special year for BaxterStorey, and winning at the British Business Awards is powerful recognition of the passion and commitment our teams bring every single day. From growing valued partnerships and launching new recognition programmes, to a record number of apprenticeship graduates and unmatched job creation, our rockstars have driven progress across every corner of the business. Our food culture has never been stronger, and our social impact never greater. This award is for our teams, they are the heart of what makes BaxterStorey so special”.

Hosted by actor and comedian Rob Brydon, with legendary appearances by Sting and Sir Bob Geldof, the event raised over £1 million for charity, Social Bite – an evening of celebration and real impact.
