Great coffee. Real impact. That’s the idea behind Unity Club, the latest blend to join our Society coffee range. Developed in partnership with Extract Coffee Roasters, it pairs standout flavour with ethical sourcing, supporting coffee-growing communities in Papua New Guinea with every cup.

Sourced from the Highlands of Papua New Guinea, Unity Club is a washed coffee with tasting notes of orange marmalade, buttercream and praline. But what makes it truly special is the story behind it. Through direct trade relationships, the coffee supports farming communities by championing quality, transparency and long-term partnerships, helping growers earn a fair return while investing in the future of their farms and families.

We’ve heard loud and clear that making a positive impact in our customers’ communities’ matter, so Unity Club was built to do exactly that. Every bag sold contributes to a dedicated community fund, supporting charities including MK Bus Shelter, Crumbs Project, Well Grounded, Autistic East Midlands, Humans Manchester and STV Children’s Appeal. By keeping the impact local, we’re helping our teams and customers create positive change where it matters most.

Since launching in June, we have already served more than 700kg of Unity Club coffee, with locations across the business embracing the blend and helping to grow its community impact with every cup poured.

At Skypark Glasgow, Unity Club has quickly become a hit within the campus community. To launch the new blend, the team hosted a tasting morning that welcomed more than 450 people, giving Sky employees, visitors and local businesses the chance to sample hot filter coffee and a flash-brewed iced filter topped with vanilla cold foam, while learning more about the story behind it.

Since the switch, feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with customers describing Unity Club as a noticeable improvement to the coffee offer. The partnership really resonates because STV Children’s Appeal is a charity already close to the Skypark community through previous fundraising initiatives. By combining great-tasting coffee with a meaningful local cause, Unity Club has become more than just a drink, it has become part of Skypark’s wider commitment to bringing people together and making a difference.

Max Folkard, Head of Customer Partnerships for Foodservice at Extract, said: “We’ve seen fantastic engagement with Unity Club across BaxterStorey’s locations. What’s been particularly powerful is seeing teams connect with charities that are often right on their doorstep and closely linked to their local communities. The enthusiasm for the coffee has been incredible and I’m excited to see that momentum continue as more locations bring Unity Club on board, whether as a house blend or alongside its Society siblings, Down to Earth and Lighthearted”.
