We’re celebrating two major milestones for our British Airways lounges business: extending our partnership through to 2035 and promoting Kirsty Hurst-Worth to Regional Director.

We’ve been working together since 2013 and are proud to keep shaping the premium lounge experience across the UK. That means continuing to look after food, drinks, housekeeping and hospitality across 13 lounges including Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Gatwick and Heathrow.

On our busiest days, our teams welcome up to 14,000 guests, creating memorable experiences for travellers before they take to the skies. The partnership extension is a fantastic vote of confidence in our teams, our service and the strong relationship we’ve built with British Airways over the last 12 years.

Kevin Love, Head of Food at BA Lounges said: “Working with British Airways has allowed us to continually evolve the lounge experience for our guests. Together, we’ve refreshed lounge spaces, introduced an exciting new food and drink offer, and invested in developing our teams to deliver great service every day. It’s been a real team effort, and we’re proud of what we’ve achieved together. »

As part of the premium lounge experience, guests can enjoy a carefully crafted food offer to suit every stage of their journey. From duck confit with a smoky cucumber, pomegranate salad to air-dried ham, truffle and Bold Bean salad, menus showcase our regional food heroes and seasonal innovation. The team have a dedicated cocktail selection, including a rhubarb camomile sour and Pilot’s Choice orange and thyme margarita, helping create a memorable experience before take-off.

Alongside this exciting milestone, we’re also celebrating the appointment of Kirsty Hurst-Worth as Regional Director. Kirsty is no stranger to the British Airways business, having spent more than a decade leading operations across the UK lounge estate. Her passion for hospitality, operational excellence and team development has helped shape the success of our partnership to date.

In her new role, Kirsty will lead lounge operations across the estate, overseeing client relationships, commercial performance, food and beverage innovation and a team of more than 700.

Reflecting on the opportunity ahead, Kirsty said: « I’m delighted to step into this new role and even more pleased that we are extending our relationship with British Airways. I’m looking forward to continuing to work alongside our team to ensure the guest experience across the lounges continues to go from strength to strength. »

Ronan Harte, our CEO added: « We are truly delighted to be strengthening our long-standing partnership with British Airways, and to be looking ahead to delivering even more innovation and memorable hospitality experiences to the thousands of customers we welcome every day. »

As our partnership continues, we look forward to welcoming all our guests with a memorable hospitality experience that delights and makes every journey feel that little bit more special.
