General manager, Lottie Lane, has been named an Acorn Award winner, a brilliant achievement and reflection of the impact she’s made across the Amazon contract in London.

Organised by The Caterer, the Acorn Awards celebrate the brightest rising stars in hospitality, recognising 30 individuals under 30 who are shaping the future of the industry.

Lottie joined us in 2019, and it didn’t take long for her drive and talent to stand out. Within six months, she stepped up into a retail supervisor role and has kept progressing ever since. Now a general manager, Lottie leads a multi-location operation at Amazon in Shoreditch, serving up to 8000 people every day.

Along the way, she has led the mobilisation of a Benugo café, introduced standout food offers including Social Graze, Social Slice and Social Trattoria, and supported the launch of our first-ever Just Walk Out store. She also oversees FUEL at Amazon, bringing exciting street food traders such as Papi Chulo, Sweet Dee’s Jerk and Raastawala into the workplace to keep the experience fresh, relevant and engaging for customers.

All about her team, in 2025 alone, Lottie supported eight promotions, mentoring emerging talent and creating an environment where people can genuinely thrive. At the same time, she’s been completing her MBA, sharpening her leadership skills and bringing that learning straight back into the business.

Beyond operations, Lottie’s making a real difference in the community. Through her work with The Felix Project, she and the team helped donate over 1200kg of food alone this year, turning surplus into thousands of meals.

Thrilled to receive the award, Lottie said: “Winning an Acorn feels incredibly rewarding and a bit surreal! I was genuinely surprised when I found out, followed by a huge sense of gratitude for everyone who has supported me along the way. It’s lovely to be recognised for what I’ve achieved so far and the potential ahead and gives me real momentum going forward, opening doors to new opportunities, strengthening my credibility, and connecting me with a network that will help me to keep growing, take on bigger challenges, and build something with lasting impact”.

Account director, Tabs Kirby added: “I am incredibly proud of Lottie! It is a fantastic achievement and a true reflection of her talent, dedication, and impact. Having had the privilege of working closely with her and watching her grow over the years, it has been genuinely inspiring to see her develop into the leader she is today. She is someone I am extremely proud of, both professionally and personally. This recognition means so much, not just to me, but to the whole team. We are all incredibly proud to see Lottie acknowledged in this way, and it is so well deserved”.
