Welcoming Simon Attridge Back to BaxterStorey
We are delighted to announce a new chef partnership with Simon Attridge, Culinary Director at Claridge’s.
Simon has led the culinary direction at the iconic Mayfair hotel since 2023, overseeing dining across all outlets. His career spans some of the most respected kitchens in hospitality, including The Gleneagles Hotel, where he was named Catey Hotel Chef of the Year and Shangri-La Hotels, where he helped open restaurants at The Shard.
This partnership marks a welcome return for Simon, who earlier in his career, spent more than six years with us, leading high-end hospitality operations for our City of London clients.
Inspiring Culinary Excellence
Simon will work closely with our food team to inspire chefs and help elevate food experiences across the business. He will deliver masterclasses, support menu innovation and share insights from London’s ever-evolving dining scene, helping our teams stay ahead of trends while championing sustainable nutrition.
With the support of Claridge’s leadership team, our chefs will also have opportunities to learn and gain inspiration in the hotel’s kitchens and culinary spaces.
Supporting the Next Generation of Chefs
Simon will also join our Chef Academy as a guest tutor and ambassador. Each year, around 150 chefs graduate from the programme, building the skills, creativity and confidence to deliver exceptional food and memorable hospitality experiences for our customers.
Beyond the academy, Simon will support client events, industry conversations and our Obsessed food and beverage culture – encouraging our teams to think beyond the plate.
Bringing Hospitality to Life
Everything we do is about creating memorable hospitality moments. This partnership is another step forward in our Hospitality 360 journey – bringing together people, food and experiences to delivery something truly special for our customers.
Sharing his excitement to return, Simon said: “My time at BaxterStorey played an important role in my career, so it’s a pleasure to reconnect. I’m looking forward to sharing knowledge, supporting the Chef Academy and collaborating with the team to continue raising the bar across hospitality”.
Our CEO, Ronan said: “This is a true 360-degree moment for us as we welcome Simon back to BaxterStorey. He returns with invaluable insight, exceptional culinary expertise and a deep passion for outstanding hospitality shaped by his experience at one of the world’s most respected hotels.
