BaxterStorey are delighted to have extended their partnership with Aberdeen Football Club by launching an exciting new catering offer at the Pittodrie stadium.
BaxterStorey has been working with AFC’s new training facility at Cormack Park since 2019, bringing traditional Scottish dishes to the players and fans including freshly prepared soups like Scotch broth with chunky leek and potato.
The expert culinary team are excited to be extending this offer to the Pittodrie stadium catering for all matchday hospitality and kiosks at the stadium, as well as non-matchday conferences and events. Supporting the local community is key, with 70% of fresh produce sourced in Scotland coming from within an average radius of 27 miles from AFC.
A big fan of AFC himself, BaxterStorey Scotland’s development chef Stuart Aitken is the inspiration behind the new Autumnal hospitality menu. Alongside traditional broths, fans can look forward to braised medallion of Aberdeen angus beef served with haggis and potato terrine and pan roasted North Sea cod on a bed of spiced cauliflower puree.
Inspired by seasonal ingredients, the experienced pastry chef has created a delectable dessert menu, including lemon posset with handmade raspberry and vanilla shortbread and individual apple and blackberry oat crumbles with Inverurie dairy vanilla ice cream.
