Chocolate Orange Brownies

Makes 45 portions from 3 trays (30x20cm)

Ingredients:
600g butter
600g plain Terry’s Chocolate Orange
760g caster sugar
760g soft dark brown sugar
720g egg
540g plain flour
60g cocoa
600g milk Terry’s Chocolate Orange (chopped)

Method:

Melt the plain Terry’s Chocolate Orange and butter in a microwave.

Place the eggs and both sugars in a bowl and whisk on medium speed until you reach the ribbon stage. It should have doubled in volume.

Add the dark chocolate and butter mix to the bowl and incorporate on slow speed.

Sieve the flour and cocoa and fold into this until just combined. Finish by folding in the chopped milk Terry’s Chocolate Orange.

Divide into lined trays and bake at 165’C for approx. 35 minutes.

Once cooked, the brownies should have a slight wobble in the centre.

Allow to cool full before cutting into squares or bars and serve in a festive shape!
